Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi- Cochin

Arrival from the airport in Cochin our representative will meet and greet you from airport and drive to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Cochin – Munnar (150 Km/ 04 Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Munnar, on the way to Munnar visit Vaplara, Cheeyappara waterfalls and Tea Plantations. Upon arrival at Munnar transfer to Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park – open as per the directions by the forest authorities), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (hermitragus Hilarious)- the mountain goat of South India. You may visit the Tea Museum surrounded by tea Gardens- the only Museum of its kind; which illustrates the timeworn method of Tea production. Evening have a short visit at Munnar town. Overnight stay at Munnar.

 

Day 3: Munnar

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar. Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothenmedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight stay at Munna

Day 4: Munnar- Thekkady : 92 km/2-3 hours drive


After breakfast Transfer to Thekkady, Drive through one of those most picturesque hill highways of Kerala. Thekkady, also known as periyar is a world famous wildlife sanctuary and one of the 48 Tiger reserves in India . Afternoon proceed for 1½-hour game viewing cruise around the Periyar Lake which is the main way to tour the sanctuary. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc. overnight Stay at hotel Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady – Alleppey : 140 km/ 3-4 hours drive

After breakfast drive to Alleppey. With the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of Lakes, Lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. Referred to as the Venice of east by travelers from across the world. This backwater country is home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, Alappuzha is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year. Alappuzha is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. A singularity of this land is the region called “KUTTANAD” – a land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the world where farming is done below sea level. Day 6: Alleppey- Cochin : 60 km/ 1-1.5 hours drive

After Breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to airport to board flight for Delhi.
