Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kochi and Transfer to Munnar: (130 km / 3-4 hours)

Arrive at Kochi International Airport and transfer to Munnar enjoying the scenic drive through winding roads and lush greenery. Check in to your hotel, have lunch, and relax. Visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea production in Munnar, followed by a walk through the picturesque tea gardens. Enjoy a traditional Kerala meal for dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar.

  • Visit Eravikulam National Park (note: closed from February to March for calving season), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
  • Explore Mattupetty Dam and enjoy boating experiences.
  • Visit Echo Point, known for its serene lake and panoramic views.
  • Stop by the Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea production and enjoy the picturesque tea gardens.
  • Conclude your day at Pothamedu Viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the lush green valleys and tea plantations.
  • Return to the hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady: (90 km / 2.5-3 hours)

Check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady surrounded by scenic landscapes. Check in to your hotel and have lunch. Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for a guided nature walk or bamboo rafting experience, where you can spot a variety of wildlife. Enjoy a cultural performance featuring traditional Kerala arts, such as Kathakali or Kalaripayattu. Savor a delicious dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Thekkady to Allepey: (140 km / 3-4 hours)

Check out from Thekkady and head to Allepey renowned for its beautiful backwaters. Check in to a traditional houseboat and enjoy a leisurely cruise through the serene backwaters, passing by lush paddy fields, coconut groves, and quaint villages. Relish freshly prepared Kerala cuisine served on board. Spend the evening relaxing on the houseboat as you enjoy the tranquil surroundings and beautiful sunset views.

Day 5: Allepey to Cochin: (around 60 km / 1.5 hours)

After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and explore Allepey. Later, transfer to Cochin and check in to your hotel. Spend the afternoon visiting key attractions such as the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and the Jewish Synagogue. In the evening, enjoy a Kathakali dance performance or relax at a waterfront café.

Day 6: Departure from Cochin

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Kochi International Airport for your departure
