Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax or explore some of Delhi’s historic landmarks such as Qutub Minar, India Gate, or the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk. Prepare for your exciting wildlife adventure starting the next day.

Day 2: Delhi to Ranthambore (By Road, 400 km / 7-8 hours)

After breakfast, travel to Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s most famous tiger reserves. Ranthambore is known for its population of Bengal tigers and its unique landscape, combining dense forests with ancient ruins. Upon arrival, check-in to your jungle lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Day 3: Morning & Afternoon Safaris in Ranthambore National Park

Start the day with an early morning safari through the rugged landscapes of Ranthambore, where tigers often roam near the ancient forts and temples. You may also spot leopards, sloth bears, and various deer species. After lunch at your lodge, head out for an afternoon safari, soaking in the beauty of the park’s flora and fauna.

Day 4: Ranthambore to Agra (270 km / 5-6 hours)

After breakfast, depart for Agra, the home of the world-famous Taj Mahal. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and spend the afternoon visiting the Taj Mahal, an eternal symbol of love and one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. Take in the beauty of its white marble structure as the sun sets over this iconic monument.

Day 5: Agra to Gwalior (120 km / 2-3 hours)

In the morning, explore Agra Fort, a grand Mughal fort with stunning architecture and historical significance. Then, drive to Gwalior, a city with a rich cultural heritage. On arrival, visit the imposing Gwalior Fort, which houses temples, palaces, and monuments dating back centuries. The fort’s panoramic views and grand structures offer a glimpse into India’s royal past.

Day 6: Gwalior to Khajuraho (275 km / 5-6 hours)

Today, travel to Khajuraho, famous for its exquisitely carved temples that depict life, spirituality, and human emotion in intricate detail. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and visit the UNESCO-listed Khajuraho Temples. Explore the western group of temples, renowned for their erotic sculptures and remarkable craftsmanship.

Day 7: Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh National Park (250 km / 5-6 hours)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Bandhavgarh National Park, one of India’s premier tiger reserves known for its high tiger density. On arrival, check-in to your jungle lodge. Enjoy a peaceful evening, or take a nature walk to get acquainted with the park’s surroundings and abundant wildlife.

Day 8: Morning & Afternoon Safaris in Bandhavgarh National Park

Spend the day exploring the Bandhavgarh wilderness on two thrilling tiger safaris—one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Bandhavgarh is renowned for its tiger population and offers excellent opportunities to spot these elusive big cats, along with leopards, spotted deer, langurs, and more. The ancient Bandhavgarh Fort atop a hill adds a unique cultural touch to the park’s picturesque landscapes.

Day 9: Bandhavgarh to Kanha National Park (250 km / 5-6 hours)

After a final morning in Bandhavgarh, drive to Kanha National Park, another iconic tiger reserve that inspired Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book.” Upon arrival, check-in to your lodge and unwind. Kanha is known for its beautiful landscapes, vast meadows, and healthy tiger population.

Day 10: Morning & Afternoon Safaris in Kanha National Park

Enjoy two exciting wildlife safaris in Kanha National Park. The park’s diverse ecosystem is home to tigers, barasingha (swamp deer), leopards, wild dogs, and a variety of bird species. Between safaris, relax at your lodge, surrounded by the park’s natural beauty. The open grasslands and dense forests provide breathtaking scenery throughout your game drives.

Day 11: Kanha to Pench National Park (160 km / 3-4 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Pench National Park, located on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Pench is a lesser-known yet equally impressive tiger reserve, rich in biodiversity. Check-in to your lodge and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Pench is also famous as the setting for Kipling’s “The Jungle Book.”

Day 12: Morning & Afternoon Safaris in Pench National Park

Spend the day on morning and afternoon safaris in Pench National Park, where you’ll have a chance to see tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and a variety of other wildlife. The park is also home to over 250 species of birds, making it an excellent destination for birdwatching. The teak forests and open grasslands offer diverse landscapes, enhancing the safari experience.

Day 13: Pench to Nagpur (110 km / 2-3 hours) and Flight to Delhi

After a final morning safari in Pench, you will be transferred to Nagpur Airport for your flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to your hotel for the evening. Spend your final night in India reflecting on the incredible wildlife experiences and cultural treasures encountered on your journey.

Day 14: Departure from Delhi

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of an unforgettable 14-day wildlife expedition through India’s most iconic tiger reserves and cultural landmarks.
