Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Arrive in Delhi, the capital of India, and transfer to your hotel. After checking in, spend the rest of the day at leisure, allowing you to relax and adjust to the time zone. Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel, where you will be briefed about the upcoming itinerary.

 

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

Start your day with a visit to Old Delhi, where you’ll explore the Mughal architecture, including the Jama Masjid (one of the largest mosques in India). Take a rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk, the heart of the old city. Next, visit the iconic Red Fort, India Gate, and Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. After lunch, drive to New Delhi to visit the President’s Residence (Rashtrapati Bhawan), Qutub Minar, and Humayun’s Tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal.

 

Day 3: Delhi to Jaisalmer (Flight)

Catch a morning flight from Delhi to Jaisalmer, a desert city known for its golden-hued architecture and majestic forts. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the city at your own pace or simply relax.

 

Day 4: Jaisalmer Sightseeing

Today, immerse yourself in the beauty of Jaisalmer. Visit the Jaisalmer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is one of the largest living forts in the world. Explore Patwon Ki Haveli and the Jain Temples, known for their intricate carvings and stunning architecture. In the late afternoon, enjoy a desert safari at Sam Sand Dunes, where you’ll experience a camel ride and witness the enchanting sunset over the dunes.

Day 5: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur; 285 km, 6-7 hours

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Jodhpur (approximately 285 km, 6-7 hours). The drive takes you through the Rajasthan desert, and you will witness the changing landscapes. Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check into your hotel and unwind for the night.

Day 6: Jodhpur Sightseeing

This morning, visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest and most impressive forts in India. Explore the museum inside the fort, which displays a collection of artifacts and royal memorabilia. Then, visit Jaswant Thada, a white marble cenotaph, and stroll through the local markets to shop for handicrafts.

Day 7: Jodhpur to Ranakpur to Udaipur: 260 km, 6 hours

Drive to Ranthambore National Park, famous for its tiger reserve. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge, with time to relax in the surrounding natural beauty.

 

Day 8: Udaipur Sightseeing

Udaipur is famous for its stunning palaces and tranquil lakes. Start your day with a visit to the City Palace, one of the largest palace complexes in Rajasthan. Explore Jagdish Temple and Sahelion Ki Bari, a beautiful garden with fountains and lotus pools. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, offering breathtaking views of the City Palace, Jag Mandir, and the surrounding hills.

 

Day 9: Udaipur to Chittorgarh to Jaipur: 300 km, 6-7 hours

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, with a stop at Chittorgarh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its massive fort and historical significance. Visit the Chittorgarh Fort, which tells the stories of Rajput valor and sacrifice. After exploring Chittorgarh, continue your drive to Jaipur and check in at your hotel.

 

Day 10: Jaipur Sightseeing

Start your day with a visit to Amber Fort, where you can enjoy an elephant or jeep ride to the top. Explore the fort’s grand architecture, including the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). Afterward, visit Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, and the Jantar Mantar observatory. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace and shop for traditional Rajasthani handicrafts at the bazaars.

 

 

Day 11: Jaipur to Agra via Abhaneri: 240 km, 5 hours

Today, drive to Agra with a stop at Abhaneri to visit the stepwells and the ancient temples. Upon arrival in Agra, check in at your hotel. In the evening, you can take a leisure walk around the Taj Mahal complex or relax at your hotel.

Day 12: Agra Sightseeing

Wake up early to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, when it’s less crowded and the monument is bathed in a golden hue. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast before heading to the Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone fort that offers panoramic views of the Taj Mahal. If time permits, visit the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, also known as the “Baby Taj.”

Day 13: Agra to Khajuraho via Orchha: 250 km, 6-7 hours

This morning, embark on a drive to Khajuraho with a stop at Orchha to visit the ancient Bundela palaces and temples. Continue to Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its erotic sculptures on the temples. Check-in at your hotel upon arrival.

Day 14: Khajuraho Sightseeing

Explore the temples of Khajuraho, including the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, which is famous for its intricate carvings. Visit the Lakshmana Temple, the Vishwanath Temple, and the Devi Jagdamba Temple. In the evening, enjoy the Sound and Light Show at the Khajuraho Temples, which brings the history of these ancient monuments to life.

Day 15: Khajuraho to Varanasi (Flight)

Catch a morning flight from Khajuraho to Varanasi (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax for a while. In the evening, take a boat ride on the Ganges River and witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Day 16: Varanasi Sightseeing and Sarnath

Begin your day with a morning boat ride on the Ganges to see pilgrims offering prayers on the banks of the river. Afterward, visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Bharat Mata Temple. In the afternoon, visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 17: Varanasi to Ayodhya: 200 km, 5-6 hours

After breakfast, drive to Ayodhya, a city steeped in religious significance. Ayodhya is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama and is home to several temples. Visit the Ram Janmabhoomi temple and the Hanuman Garhi temple.

Day 18: Ayodhya to Delhi (Flight)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure or visit local markets for some last-minute shopping.

Day 19: Departure from Delhi

Depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
